The Toronto Friends of Standing Together is one of many international support groups of the original group, 'Standing Together' located in Israel and Palestine. This group is equally co-lead by both Israeli Jews and Palestinian Citizens of Israel, working to mobilize the society to improve our shared home. There are tens of thousands of members of Standing Together and growing all the time. This 'purple movement' is one of the only areas of hope we have, since it is one of the only rapidly growing interfath groups both in the Holy Land and around the world.
The message is simple: There are 14 million people living on the land. None of them are going anywhere. All of them deserve safety, security, freedom, human rights, dignity, and an end to military methods to solve problems. They are against all forms of oppression, terrorism, and extremism that threatens the sanctity of human life.
Yafa has worked consistently to amplify the message of Standing Together since 2021.
